About the Position
Flatpay is a fast-growing fintech from Copenhagen with the goal of making life easier for small and medium-sized businesses in Europe. Our mission: making electronic payments as fair, simple and transparent as possible – with no hidden fees, real 24/7 support, and an intuitive solution that's fun to use. Since 2022, we have already been successful in several European markets – and now things are really getting started!
For this, we need YOU: a dedicated (Junior) People Operations Specialist (f/m/d) / HR Manager (f/m/d) to support our Berlin team with heart and structure.
Your Tasks
•People Operations: You manage the entire employee lifecycle – from onboarding to offboarding – with a focus on operational HR processes such as contracts, absences and employee support
•Point of Contact: You are the first point of contact for employees and managers on everyday HR topics as well as labor law questions
•HR Tools & Processes: You bring structure to our HR data using Personio, optimize workflows and help us become even more efficient
•Policies: You develop and improve HR processes, create internal HR policies as well as reports and analyses
•Documents & Authorities: You take care of certificates and communication with, for example, health insurance providers, authorities and social insurance agencies
•Teamwork: You work closely with the entire People team as well as the Finance department, e.g. in preparing payroll
Your Profile
•Completed vocational training or a degree, preferably in HR, business administration, psychology or similar
•Practical HR experience – you have gathered relevant experience in People Operations and feel comfortable in a self-responsible role
•Basic knowledge of German labor and social insurance law
•Experience with HRIS systems (ideally Personio)
•Very good German skills and solid English skills
•A feel for people, a structured way of working and an eye for detail
•You feel comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
