Terms of use

Who we are

Eraldt (“Eraldt”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is operated by Aleksei Stepankov, Individual Entrepreneur, a sole proprietor under applicable law. Website: https://eraldt.com. Email: [email protected].

These Terms of use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Eraldt website, application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy policy, Refund policy and Fair use policy, which form part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Who can use Eraldt

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. The Service is made for individuals looking for a job. If you run a search for someone else, you need that person’s permission, and everything you tell us about them must be true.

What the Service does

Eraldt is an AI-powered job-search assistant. Starting from a CV you provide — or, where offered, a LinkedIn profile link — it proposes search directions for you to approve, looks for vacancies that fit you, identifies the people at those companies who have a reason to talk to you, writes each of them a personal email in your name, sends it from a sender address we operate, and handles the replies until someone is ready to refer you or wants to talk — at which point you take over. On request it also prepares a version of your CV tailored to a specific vacancy.

Emails are written one at a time, to people connected to a specific vacancy, within the daily budget you set and within our Fair use policy. The Service is not a job board, a recruitment agency or a bulk-mailing tool: we do not publish vacancies, do not sell anything to employers and do not send marketing.

Whether people reply, refer you or hire you depends on them, on your experience and on the market. We do not promise replies, referrals, interviews or a job.

Your account

You sign in with your email address or a supported sign-in provider. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access; you are responsible for everything done through your account. One person, one account: duplicate accounts created to obtain welcome credits again or to get around limits may be closed, and their balance forfeited.

What the agent sends in your name

Your facts, your responsibility. Everything the agent writes is built from your profile: the CV, LinkedIn data and answers you give us. You confirm that this information is accurate and yours to share, and you keep it up to date. Do not include other people’s personal data beyond what normally appears in a CV.

Authority to act for you. By approving a search direction you authorize us to write and send emails in your name from sender addresses on domains we operate, to receive and process the replies, and to continue each conversation automatically until it is handed over to you. Every email and reply is visible in your inbox in the app, and you can pause any direction or your whole profile, exclude companies, cap spending and adjust how the agent writes at any time.

Honesty. The agent does not invent facts or acquaintances, and it stops writing to anyone who asks not to be contacted. You may not use the Service to send anything other than your own job-search correspondence, to impersonate anyone or to mislead recipients.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Dodo Payments. Dodo Payments is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it collects payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes, issues receipts and handles refunds and payment disputes. Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms apply to every purchase: your billing relationship is with Dodo Payments, while your use of the Service is governed by these Terms.

Prepaid balance, no subscription. You top up a balance through Dodo Payments in one-time purchases; nothing renews automatically and nothing is charged without your action, other than auto top-up as described below. Each delivered email is deducted from your balance at the price shown on our pricing page at the time of sending. Finding vacancies and people costs nothing, and an email that bounces is credited back. Prices may change; a change never affects emails already sent or balance already bought.

Auto top-up. When you first top up with a card, Dodo Payments saves that card and auto top-up is turned on with the default top-up amount and balance threshold shown on the Billing page before you pay. When your balance drops below the threshold, we charge the saved card for that amount so that sending does not stop; Dodo Payments stores the card and processes each charge. We never charge more than the amount set, never more than a few times a day, and never while auto top-up is off. You can change the amounts, turn auto top-up off or remove the card at any time on the Billing page or in the Dodo Payments customer portal. A card that is declined repeatedly turns auto top-up off; we tell you about it in the app.

Taxes, invoices, currency. Dodo Payments calculates and collects applicable taxes based on your location, issues invoices and receipts, and may show prices in your local currency. We never see or store your card details.

Welcome credits. We may credit new accounts with a welcome balance as advertised on the website. Welcome and promotional credits have no cash value, cannot be refunded and may expire.

Refunds are described in our Refund policy.

Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

  • break any law, or contact people about anything other than your own search for employment;
  • send unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory or abusive content, or impersonate anyone;
  • get around budgets, Fair use limits, opt-outs or account restrictions, including by creating multiple accounts;
  • extract, copy or resell any part of the Service or of the data obtained through it, or build a competing product with it;
  • probe, reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service.

We may pause sending, remove content or suspend an account that breaks these rules.

Fair use

The people the agent writes to are shared among everyone who uses Eraldt. Our Fair use policy limits how often anyone hears from the platform, ensures that no one is written to twice by the same candidate, and makes every opt-out permanent and platform-wide. These limits apply automatically to every account, cannot be lifted on request, and form part of these Terms.

Your content and ours

You keep all rights to your CV, your profile and everything else you provide. You grant us a licence to store, process and transmit it — including to the providers described in our Privacy policy — solely to operate and improve the Service for you. Emails and CVs generated for you are yours to use in your job search.

The Service, its software, design and brand belong to us and our licensors. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

AI-generated content

The agent relies on large language models. Despite our safeguards it can misjudge a vacancy, phrase something awkwardly or make a mistake. Keep your profile accurate and read what is sent in your name; you remain responsible for it. The Service does not provide career, legal, immigration or financial advice.

Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability: maintenance, outages and failures of the providers we depend on can affect it. We may change or discontinue features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will refund unspent purchased balance on request.

Ending the relationship

You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account by emailing [email protected]. Deletion removes your profile, correspondence and data as described in the Privacy policy; unspent purchased balance is refunded under the Refund policy.

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal, security or deliverability risk, if the law or Dodo Payments requires it, or if we discontinue the Service — in the last case with reasonable notice and a refund of unspent purchased balance. Provisions that by their nature should continue — your responsibility for your content, licences, disclaimers, liability and governing law — survive termination.

Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Service is limited to the amount you paid through Dodo Payments in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities or earnings, or for the actions of the people the agent contacts or of employers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

You agree to compensate us for third-party claims that arise from content you provided or from your breach of these Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over disputes — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring claims there. Before going to court, write to [email protected] and give us a reasonable chance to resolve the issue.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will give reasonable notice of material changes by email or in the app; other changes take effect when published on this page. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply.

Contact

For invoices, taxes and refunds you can also contact Dodo Payments through the link in your receipt or through the customer portal on the Billing page.
