The Role
•You lead the UNITED Transformation Office and develop it into a permanently established steering unit for company-wide transformation at Miele. With UNITED, Miele is shaping one of its central company-wide business and IT transformations. Several international transformation programs are modernizing our business processes and system landscapes and sustainably changing the collaboration between business and IT.
•You are responsible for the integrated planning and cross-program steering of the UNITED Transformation. In doing so, you create transparency over milestones, dependencies, capacities, budgets, risks, and goal achievement, and ensure that the programs pursue common priorities.
•Together with senior management, you shape governance, decision-making paths, and steering mechanisms so that the organization identifies critical challenges early, makes binding decisions, and implements them consistently.
•In cases of cross-program conflicting goals, resource bottlenecks, or changes to important rollout dates, you develop well-founded courses of action, moderate differing interests, and drive decisions at the management level.
•You establish an integrated performance and KPI steering system that makes progress, risks, resource deployment, and business benefits of the transformation transparent and serves as a basis for active steering measures.
•Together with the involved areas, you develop uniform standards, ways of working, and integrated planning and steering tools, and ensure that the transformation can be steered long-term by a capable Miele team.
What Convinces Us
•You bring extensive experience leading complex, international corporate or IT transformations and have already successfully built or led a transformation office, a large transformation program, or a comparable central steering function.
•You know the challenges of steering multiple large transformation programs in an integrated way, resolving critical dependencies, prioritizing resources, and aligning different interests toward a common goal.
•You move confidently at the executive and senior management level. You structure complex issues, moderate demanding decision-making situations, and convince through analytical strength, clear communication, and assertiveness.
•You have solid experience in transformation governance, enterprise portfolio management, integrated master planning, and performance steering, and use metrics purposefully to steer change and results.
•You have already built teams, steering models, and common standards, and know how to anchor sustainable change in a large organization.
•You understand the connections between business processes, enterprise IT, and complex technology programs. Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations, agile delivery models, as well as Jira, Jira Align, or comparable enterprise planning solutions is an advantage.
•You communicate fluently in German and English and work confidently with international stakeholders.
