Responsibilities:
•Design and implement high-quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
•Build cloud-native applications on SAP BTP, ideally using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).
•Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code with a strong focus on long-term maintainability and software quality.
•Develop and maintain automated tests using JUnit to ensure reliable and robust services.
•Take ownership of the quality of your code, including test coverage, readability, and maintainability.
•Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards within the team.
•Contribute to the architecture and design of modern backend systems.
•Work in a Git-based development workflow with collaborative development practices.
•Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks to ensure reliable software delivery.
Profile:
•Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
•Strong experience in Java backend development with Spring Boot.
•Solid experience with automated testing using JUnit.
•Strong understanding of software quality, clean code, and maintainable architecture.
•Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (e.g., pull requests and code reviews).
•Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend services.
•Experience with cloud-native application development.
•Experience with SAP CAP and SAP BTP is a strong plus but not required.
•Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks.
•Ability to write well-tested, reliable, and maintainable software.
