payabl. provides businesses with global payments and multi-currency accounts through its financial services platform, payabl.one.
Задачи (Responsibilities)
•Investigate payment performance questions end to end, explain approval rate drops and anomalies across gateways, issuers, and merchants
•Prepare and validate datasets for analysis, including filtering and handling missing values
•Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns, relationships, and trends and assess whether changes are real or noise
•Build and maintain Superset dashboards and Druid data cubes used by stakeholders
•Prepare accurate, traceable, and timely recurring reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory and scheme reporting requirements
•Automate recurring analysis and reporting
•Present evidence-based insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
•Partner with other departments to understand data needs and translate open-ended business questions into answerable analytical questions
Требования (Requirements)
•Strong SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, aggregation logic, and query performance reasoning on large datasets
•Python for analysis, including pandas, a visualization library such as Matplotlib, Plotly, or Seaborn, and SciPy or an equivalent for statistical work
•Experience with relational and analytical databases, including PostgreSQL
•Experience building dashboards in a BI tool
•Comfort working in notebooks such as JupyterHub or Jupyter for exploratory analysis and reporting
•Comfort with Git-based workflows, including version control, merge requests, and code review
•Ability to automate data reports efficiently and accurately
•Excellent communication skills and ability to present clear, actionable analysis to audiences including senior decision makers
•Ownership and end-to-end responsibility

•Experience in fintech or payments and understanding of transactional data such as chargebacks, fees, interchange, acquiring, and settlement
