Responsibilities
•Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns and generate actionable insights for stakeholders in Payments, DCC, Tax-Free, and Hospitality
•Design, build, and maintain scalable PowerBI dashboards that support decision-making
•Automate and optimize reporting and analytics processes using BI tools
•Lead projects independently from ideation through implementation, defining requirements and scope with stakeholders and delivering business value
•Translate requirements between technical teams and business stakeholders
•Collaborate with business teams to understand analytical needs and develop data-driven solutions
•Work with data engineering on efficient ETL pipelines, data governance practices, and scalable, reliable data models
•Stay updated on BI and analytics tools, methodologies, and best practices, and encourage innovation
•Mentor and teach team members and contribute to the growth of the BI Analytics function
Requirements
•Advanced PowerBI expertise, including DAX, automated reports, and complex data-driven dashboards
•Strong SQL proficiency and experience working with large datasets in a cloud environment such as Snowflake
•Experience with data modelling and data pipeline processes using dbt or equivalent
•Basic knowledge of ETL processes and experience working with data engineers on scalable solutions
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to propose creative, data-driven solutions
•Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
•Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects and stakeholders
•Comfortable adapting to changing business and technology environments
