Your responsibilities in this role:
Lazard Frères Gestion (LFG) is the French asset management company of the Lazard group, based in Paris. Lazard Asset Management (LAM) is the group's global asset management platform, present in 18 countries and headquartered in New York. Lazard Frères Gestion's (LFG) international development team is in charge of the company's international commercial dynamics, and relations with LAM's international sales teams. The team is also in charge of developing LAM's global expertise in France.
As part of the international commercialization of LFG expertise, you will participate in:
•Handling client requests
•Setting up and monitoring tools for tracking commercial activity by country
•Contributing to product promotion
•Preparing internal presentation materials for sales teams and management
•Daily monitoring of AUM and flows
As part of the development in France of LAM's expertise, you will participate in:
•Promotion of LAM products for the French market
•Coordinating the exchange of marketing and commercial information with LAM stakeholders
•Handling client requests and LFG salespeople's requests for the French clientele
•Setting up operational monitoring tools for LAM funds
•In the context of strong business growth, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools within the team is a key element; you will be responsible for:
•Rapid adoption of AI tools made available at group level
•Contributing to the automation of certain recurring tasks, notably client report production
•Ability to understand, structure and formulate queries and agents in order to steer the tools toward the team's specific needs and improve the productivity of existing processes
The profile we are looking for:
•You are currently studying at a university, business school or equivalent, specialized in Financial Markets/Asset Management (Master 1 or 2 level)
•You have a very good level of spoken and written English
•You are proficient in the Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and have some notions of VBA
•You are curious, rigorous and have good interpersonal skills
•You show a marked interest in new AI tools applied to the finance and asset management professions
•You know how to make use of the technological tools available to optimize processes and improve productivity

•Internship duration: 6 months

•You will be in contact with Lazard's global sales teams, as well as management, sales, reporting/risk and marketing teams
•This cross-functional position will allow you to understand how an asset management company operates and to deepen your knowledge in asset management, sales and marketing
•You will in particular take part in weekly Equity and Rates management committees, monthly committees on economic outlook, and monthly marketing committees
