Internship (M/F) – AI Manager within the Finance team – September 2026
Lazard Frères Banque is a banking institution serving in particular our private wealth management activities, grouped under the legal entity Lazard Frères Gestion. The latter carries out asset management activities on behalf of third parties, institutional or private clients.
Lazard Frères Banque also provides support functions for all Lazard group entities in France. Lazard Frères Banque thus hosts the Finance Department, the Human Resources Department, the Tax Department, the Internal Audit Department, the Compliance Department, the Risk Department, the IT Department and general services.
The bank employs 175 people.
Your missions in this role:
You will be integrated both into the teams dedicated to the development and deployment of AI tools within LFG, and into the Finance team of the CFLF group (including the LFG and LFB entities) in order to assist the latter in implementing AI tools specific to its activities.
1. Training
Design and lead AI awareness sessions for employees. Support the adoption of deployed tools, primarily Claude (Anthropic): projects, skills and connectors.
2. AI project development
Identify and scope high-impact use cases: invoice processing and control, accounting reconciliations, production of financial reporting, budget analysis and others, depending on the needs of the Finance team. Develop prototypes using Claude (Anthropic) or in Python. Document deliverables to ensure their sustainability.
3. Creation of Claude skills and agents
Design and implement Claude skills and autonomous agents to automate recurring workflows: recording of accounting entries, invoice coding, formalization of SOx controls, extraction of key data (invoices, statements, reporting), data analysis and control, generation of financial summaries and dashboards. Integrate Claude into the team's tools via connectors (Microsoft 365). Use other group tools as needed (Rogo, Lazard GPT, Copilot). Define KPIs to measure impact.
4. Automation of low-value-added tasks
Map manual and repetitive processes (data entry, consistency checks, reconciliations). Deploy appropriate automation solutions: Claude skills and agents, Python scripts, no-code/low-code. Measure time and quality gains achieved.
5. Technological & regulatory monitoring
Follow news on AI applied to finance functions and the asset management sector (AI Act, LLM, GenAI).
The profile we are looking for:
•Engineering school student, specializing in AI/machine learning;
•Knowledge of the regulatory environment of banks and asset management companies;
•Analytical and synthesis skills;
•Sense of rigor and organization;
•Interest in artificial intelligence;
•Good interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication, in French and English;
•Team spirit and mutual support / Autonomy and curiosity.
