About Salesforce
Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. We're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all. Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.
The Experience
"Leveraging global insight and AI to accelerate Japan's transformation"
This position serves as a strategic hub connecting Japanese customers with the Global Delivery Center (GDC) in India, supporting Salesforce-driven business transformation. The core mission is not merely interpretation between languages, but pairing with senior architects on the Japan side to technically understand project content and processes, and delivering a wide range of services together with GDC members — "strategy and transformation design," "project execution support," and "governance and optimization."
The role fuses Japan's unique business context with GDC's world-class technical capabilities, the global standard methodology Salesforce Professional Service Methodology (SPSM), and available AI tools, acting as a "technical and cultural facilitator" who maximizes the customer's ROI.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
•Pairing with Japan-side architects: Continuously collaborate with domestic senior architects to deeply understand project background, individual support tasks, business processes, and expected output definitions.
•Bridging technical context: Grasp the content and creation process of deliverables technically, and provide detailed instructions and reviews in English so that GDC-produced outputs meet Japanese customers' quality standards.
•Visual translation: Convert Japanese customers' requests (in Japanese, often abstract) into concrete technical specifications (diagrams, demos, logical English) that GDC can accurately implement.
•Accelerating delivery with AI: Use AI tools to efficiently create instructions, summarize documents, and perform initial reviews of deliverables, reducing the burden on Japan-side architects and improving overall project speed.
•Adjusting culture and nuance: Translate Japan-specific business customs and implicit intentions ("between the lines") into clear logic that GDC can understand, preventing misalignment in multinational teams.
You're Our Person If...
•Experience: 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise systems consulting, or IT system build processes (development, design, QA, etc.)
•Understanding of process and output: Deep, task-level understanding of "what to build" and "how to proceed" across phases from requirements definition through design, development, testing, and migration
•Language ability: Japanese: fluent (able to accurately grasp the intent of Japanese customers and internal architects); English: business level (able to communicate technical details and process improvements appropriately with India GDC architects)
•Cross-cultural adaptability: Able to positively embrace differences between Japanese and Indian IT development culture (documentation granularity, communication style, etc.) and enjoy bridging that gap
•AI literacy: Motivated to actively use AI tools in your own work (translation, summarization, spec creation, code review, etc.) to increase productivity
You will pair closely with Japan-side senior architects, correctly understand the intent of project tasks and processes, and provide execution support that communicates accurately and efficiently to GDC.
Under the lead of Japan-side architects, you will support the following work in collaboration with GDC:
•Concretizing strategy and transformation support: Support for definition and execution of business process reform, organizational transformation, and system area transformation (IT landscape).
•Project execution support: Assisting facilitation of requirements definition, mediating creation/review of detailed design, quality control of development and testing, and execution of data migration strategy.
•Governance and optimization operations: Operation of design quality diagnostic processes and approval flows. Coordination with GDC on diagnostics (health checks) of existing environments.
•Professional coordination skills: Standing between teams of different cultures and backgrounds, able to persistently and flexibly coordinate toward common goals.
•Technical understanding: Not merely an "interpreter," but someone who can take responsibility for output quality with real IT build-site sensibility.
•AI as a weapon: Someone who wants to actively adopt AI and new technology to embody smarter, more efficient bridging work.
