As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, you will set architectural and engineering standards for the whole organization and directly support product teams on the most demanding projects (including satellite data processing for ESA).
We are constantly growing, and we are currently looking for a person for the position of: Senior Software & Platform Engineer.
Your responsibilities
•Creating standards: Defining architectural patterns in the areas of Observability, CI/CD, GitOps and Kubernetes.
•Supporting teams: Help and consulting for development teams facing difficult technological, performance and integration challenges.
•Proactive contribution: Participation in designing highly available and scalable solutions, from both the technical and business side.
•Quality & Practices: Promoting good practices for writing code (Python/Go), testing (TDD), Code Review, and process optimization using AI tools.
Tech Stack & Standards
•Core & Code: Python, Golang (knowledge of or willingness to learn), Linux
•Observability Standard: Prometheus, Thanos / Prometheus Operator, ELK
•CI/CD & GitOps: ArgoCD, Git, OpenTofu
•Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ
•Nice to have: NATS, Temporal, OpenBao
We expect from you
•At least 8 years of commercial experience building high-performance distributed systems and knowledge of architectural challenges.
•Very good knowledge of Python or Golang and high standards of clean code.
•Understanding of Kubernetes from the application perspective and the ability to debug complex problems on K8s.
•Experience designing and implementing CI/CD, GitOps and Observability standards (Prometheus/Thanos).
•Ability to share knowledge, lead substantive discussions and support other engineers.
•Higher education (computer science or related field) and communicative English.
•Readiness for hybrid work (minimum 3 days a week from the Warsaw office).

Software Developers / Software Development - We build and develop advanced distributed systems. Their task is to provide services for broadly understood satellite data processing, which we collect and catalog in huge volumes. For our systems to work smoothly, we need services that enable downloading, describing and storing this data.
