Senior Manager KYC Risk and Assurance

About the Role
You will lead KYC risk and assurance activities, manage complex enhanced due diligence decisions, and improve onboarding controls. You will translate compliance standards into operational procedures, oversee reporting and governance, lead a team, and work with key stakeholders across the business.
Requirements
•10 or more years of financial crime and AML experience in financial services
•Expertise in KYC, CDD, EDD, UK MLRs, and JMLSG Guidance
•Experience leading financial crime operations, KYC, quality, or assurance teams
•Experience designing and running KYC and onboarding assurance frameworks
•Experience operationalising KYC standards, CRA methodologies, and refresh processes
•Experience building AML management information and engaging governance committees
•Understanding of the FCA regulatory environment
•Comfort working from the London office at least three days per week
Responsibilities
•Design and run a risk-based quality assurance framework for onboarding and enhanced due diligence
•Provide first-line assurance on onboarding controls to senior management
•Own AML management information and quality reporting
•Lead enhanced due diligence reviews and risk decisioning for complex clients
•Define escalation pathways and turnaround standards for complex onboarding queries
•Operationalise KYC standards, CRA methodology, and refresh processes
•Oversee remediation of high-risk clients
•Improve KYC processes, systems, controls, and governance
•Lead, develop, and grow a team of three
•Partner with Compliance, Financial Crime, onboarding, sales, and senior stakeholders
