RichBrains

Sales manager in IT outsourcing

In short

Remote full-cycle sales role at an IT outsourcing company (AWS and Salesforce partner) serving clients in EdTech, property management, and startups across Europe, UK, Canada and the USA. This is the company's first dedicated sales hire, working solo and hands-on with direct access to business owners, with a growth path toward building out the sales function. Requires 4+ years of sales experience ideally in IT outsourcing, SaaS or tech services, fluent English, strong closing skills, and comfort with self-generated leads and AI/automation tools.

About the role
For almost 20 years, RichBrains has been building long-term outsourcing partnerships across Europe, the UK, Canada and the USA, with deep expertise in EdTech, property management solutions, and startups. We're an AWS and Salesforce partner, which gives us strong technical credibility in every client conversation. This is our first dedicated sales hire. Growth at RichBrains has always come from reputation and referrals - now we're ready to build an active, structured sales function, and we're looking for the person to lead that shift.
Responsibilities
•Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, first contact, qualification, negotiation, closing - start to finish
•Build and manage your own pipeline in CRM; keep it accurate and move deals forward with discipline
•Run calls and meetings with international leads and clients (EU, UK, US, Canada) - confidently and in fluent English
•Prepare and present proposals, pricing, and commercial terms tailored to each client's needs
•Use LinkedIn, email, and other channels to generate your own leads when needed - you're not waiting for warm leads to land on your desk
•Use AI and automation tools to work faster and smarter (research, outreach, follow-ups, prep)
•Track what works and what doesn't, and adjust your approach quickly - no fixed playbook, you help write it
•Stay sharp on market trends, competitors, and client priorities in EdTech, property management, and outsourcing
•Bring ideas to management on pricing, positioning, process - contribute to shaping sales strategy, not just execute it
Requirements
•4+ years in sales, ideally in IT outsourcing, SaaS, or tech services - full-cycle sales experience is a strong plus
•Fluent, confident English - you can sell and negotiate with native speakers without hesitation
•Deep understanding of the European business landscape and cultural nuances
•Strong at closing: you know how to ask for the deal, handle objections, and negotiate terms
•Self-starter mindset - you bring plans forward, you don't wait to be told what to do
•Comfortable being hands-on and solo - this is a doer role, not a management role, at least for now
•Practical experience with LinkedIn/email outreach or lead generation
•Genuine interest in AI tools, using them daily to be more effective
•Working knowledge of CRM and sales processes - or you pick this up fast
•Good understanding of how IT/outsourcing services are sold and delivered
Nice to have
•Language proficiency: European languages (German, Spanish, French, etc)
•Exposure to EdTech, proptech, or startup clients
•Familiarity with Salesforce or AWS partner ecosystems
Conditions
•This is a remote position
•Full ownership of sales at RichBrains - your decisions, your pipeline, your results
•A clear growth path toward leading and eventually building out the sales function as the company scales
•Direct, hands-on collaboration with business owners and top management - no layers, no bureaucracy
•Freedom to experiment with approach, tools, and pricing within your deals
•Work with international clients across Europe, UK, Canada, and the USA
