About the Role
AZEX Trucking is looking for a proactive and results-driven Recruiter to join our team at the Baku office. This is an office-based HR opportunity focused on recruiting Owner Operators and Professional Drivers, coordinating hiring and onboarding, and monitoring performance within the international trucking industry.
Responsibilities
•Identify, attract and recruit Truck Owners (Owner Operators) and Professional Drivers
•Source candidates through social media, online platforms, professional networks and referrals
•Conduct initial interviews, screen candidates and negotiate cooperation terms
•Manage and oversee the overall recruitment and onboarding processes
•Monitor onboarding progress and maintain regular communication with newly recruited candidates
•Follow up on Driver and Owner Operator performance in coordination with relevant departments
•Develop recruitment strategies and explore new candidate acquisition channels
•Maintain recruitment records, track KPIs and provide regular reports to management
Requirements
•Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
•Fluency in English, Russian and Azerbaijani is mandatory
•Experience in cold calling, lead generation and candidate sourcing
•Strong organizational, follow-up and reporting skills
•Ability to work independently, manage multiple recruitment processes and achieve performance targets
Nice to Have
•Previous experience in recruitment, sales, business development or customer acquisition is preferred
•Experience in transportation, logistics or trucking recruitment is an advantage
•Knowledge of Uzbek is an advantage
