Responsibilities
•Set direction and priorities across product areas based on client needs, product data, and commercial goals
•Read regulations, API documentation, and operational processes, and form a position before Legal and Compliance review
•Write detailed specifications for launches
•Carry decisions through delivery with Engineering, Design, Legal, Compliance, and Operations
•Take products through testing and launch, then run them
•Review other product managers' research, decisions, and specifications, and help hire
Requirements
•Have shipped a complex product and be able to explain it in detail, including where it broke
•Have enough technical understanding to read documentation, follow data flows, and reason about system behavior with engineers
•Query data independently and explain every figure quoted
•Use AI regularly in product work, validating results against documentation, data, and other primary sources
•Have made product decisions across related areas and helped other product managers improve through reviews
