Qonto develops accounting products that make its platform a central finance workspace for small and medium-sized businesses.
Responsibilities
•Own the end-to-end product roadmap, deciding what to build, why, and in what order in collaboration with engineers, designers, and subject-matter experts
•Build a deep understanding of German accounting processes and how accounting works in Germany
•Define and execute the German accounting strategy, assess customer needs, decide what to build in-house or cover through partnerships, and shape a useful offering for German SMEs
•Use AI tools to accelerate delivery and identify where automation can turn accounting into a competitive advantage
•Challenge assumptions, build prototypes quickly, and work toward the best possible product
•Work with an autonomous squad that owns its roadmap, chooses its approaches, and delivers independently
Requirements
•Deep expertise in German accounting and experience at or closely with a German accounting technology company
•Demonstrated examples of products brought from 0 to 1 or significantly scaled
•Focus on outcomes, not just features, and confidence making difficult trade-offs
•Use AI across research, analysis, specification writing, and user testing
•Fluent German
•Very good English
