Coinbase aims to increase economic freedom and provides execution and liquidity solutions to institutional clients across spot and derivatives markets.
Responsibilities
•Drive trading volume by understanding clients' liquidity needs, identifying suitable high-touch and low-touch execution services, and providing real-time execution support and market color
•Build and maintain counterparty relationships through quality execution, daily market updates on liquidity and flow themes, and consistent service delivery
•Partner with Sales, Financing, and Account Management teams to identify, onboard, and monetize new client relationships, and surface opportunities across Coinbase's institutional product suite
•Share structured client and marketplace feedback with institutional Product Managers to guide product development across spot trading and financing
•Monitor market sentiment, trading activity, and client positioning in real time, and keep internal teams informed to support strategic decisions
Requirements
•At least 3 years of sales and/or trading experience in digital assets, FX, equities, credit, or derivatives at a top-tier institution, including direct experience in daily execution and settlement
•Strong options trading skills, including pricing, hedging, and risk management of vanilla and/or exotic structures; fluency in Greeks, volatility dynamics, and options market microstructure
•Ability to build and maintain institutional counterparty relationships and translate market insight into trusted, high-value interactions
•Experience producing institutional-grade market commentary or client communications on macro, crypto, or digital asset themes
•Responsible use of generative AI, with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and measurable workflow improvements in efficiency, cost, and quality
•Weekend availability is required; Saturday and Sunday are working days
Conditions
•Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus): £127,205 - £133,900 GBP
•Total compensation may also include equity, bonus eligibility, and medical, dental, and vision benefits
•Quarterly in-person working sessions called "surges"
•Candidates may submit a maximum of 3 applications within a 6-month period
