Supabase

head of AI native operations

In short

This role owns the company-wide maturity model and operating cadence for a fast-growing (200 to 800 people), fully remote, asynchronous SaaS company (Supabase, a Postgres development platform). It involves running assessments, defining standards for work tracking and decision-making, replacing meetings with automated reporting, directing AI agents, and managing two senior individual contributors. It demands proven experience scaling operational discipline without direct authority, hands-on experience building agentic AI workflows, and exceptional writing skills.

•Personally built agentic AI workflows that others depended on

•Exceptional writing skills and the ability to use documents as enforcement mechanisms
•Comfortable being publicly assessed by the system built for the organization
Nice to have
•Experience running maturity models or capability assessments across teams, publishing results and driving organizational reallocations
•Familiarity with Git, Markdown, and Pull Requests
•Experience permanently replacing a recurring meeting with an automated system
•A deep software engineering background
Conditions
•Fully remote work available globally; the company has no offices
•WeWork membership or co-working allowance available worldwide
•Every team member receives ESOP equity
