What You Can Expect
As a Financial Controller at Rhenus Warehousing Solutions, you play a crucial role in reporting on, monitoring and improving our financial health in an environment that never stands still. With a sharp eye you oversee our financial processes and ensure correct administration that is continuously optimized.
Within our diverse finance team you are the point of contact for the sales and purchasing processes of the business. Your workplace is our head office "The Tube" in Tilburg, where you work in a dynamic environment with plenty of room for personal input and innovation.
Responsibilities
In more detail:
•You are responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales and purchasing processes and taking adequate action when necessary;
•You process transactions in the subledger during the month-end close, so that correct and complete administration is delivered in line with accounting principles;
•You proactively contribute to maintaining and optimizing the record to report process by always assessing current processes and correctly integrating business initiatives;
•You are positively critical and always looking for improvements within the processes;
•You participate in various finance projects within the Finance department of RWS;
•You ensure an optimal course of our annual audit;
•You analyze financial data, both requested and unrequested.
What You Bring
You are an energetic and open finance professional ready for a second step in your career, preferably with experience within a multinational. You like an informal, results-oriented and changing environment. As a financial professional you are above-average process-oriented, analytical and proactive.
•HBO (Bachelor's) work and thinking level;
•Strong analytical ability;
•2 years of relevant work experience in finance;
•Experience in the logistics sector is desired, not required;
•Good command of the Dutch and English language.
