Description
Amazon Ads EU Sales Finance shapes the financial direction of a growing digital advertising business across the EU.
Responsibilities
•Own end-to-end revenue forecasting and the weekly, monthly, and quarterly review cadence for the EU Open Internet business
•Track market-level opportunities and risks, flag concerns, quantify revenue opportunities, and recommend actions to Sales leadership
•Partner with the Ad Tech team on growth initiatives to drive adoption and accelerate revenue
•Own the financial framework for initiatives, track performance, identify optimization levers, and drive cross-team accountability for execution
•Design self-serve reporting infrastructure, including dashboards, automated data pipelines, and AI-enhanced tools that give Sales and Leadership access to insights
•Author and distribute strategic priority newsletters to Leadership with updates on initiatives, emerging risks, decisions needed, and progress against goals
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field
•Experience in multiple finance and accounting roles
•Experience building financial and operational reports or datasets that inform business decision-making
•Experience with Excel macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, and lookups
Nice to have
•Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)
•Experience solving complex business challenges with accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations with proven business impact
•Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as SQL, MS Access, Essbase, or Cognos and financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, Lawson, or JD Edwards
•Experience developing Excel financial models using advanced functions such as pivot tables, macros, VBA, or Power Query
•Experience in a finance role partnering with stakeholders across the business
