Responsibilities
•Responsible for the financial administration.
•Ensure all transactions and balance sheet positions are complete, accurate, and properly reconciled.
•Resolve accounting issues and maintain high data quality.
•Independently manage the monthly closing process.
•Prepare P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and relevant management reports.
•Analyse and explain key financial developments and variances.
•Responsible for the year-end closing process.
•Independently coordinate the external audit or accountant review.
•Maintain audit-ready documentation and act as the main contact for auditors and accountants.
•Improve finance processes, controls, and reporting.
•Identify manual and inefficient activities and implement more scalable solutions.
•Use systems, integrations, and automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
•Develop the finance function in line with the growth and increasing complexity of the organisation.
•Support and develop the finance team.
•Act as the main finance contact within the organisation.
•Support the Managing Director with financial insights around profitability, cash flow, risks, and business decisions.
Requirements
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, financial administration, accounting, or finance operations.
•Experience working within Dutch based entities handling fiscal and statutory matters.
•Experience managing complete financial administrations and month-end closings.
•Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems.
•Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English is a must.
Nice to have
•Experience supporting junior colleagues is an advantage.
