About the Project
The client is a global healthcare organization improving the lives of patients and caregivers through innovative digital health solutions. Its initiatives include a mobile application supporting Alzheimer's disease caregivers and a web-based platform that digitizes the dementia caregiver experience.
Responsibilities
•Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders
•Produce and maintain project documentation, including requirements, specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, release documentation, and user guides
•Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional specifications
•Own and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives
•Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle
•Facilitate requirement workshops, backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies
•Clarify requirements and support the development team during implementation and testing
•Validate delivered functionality against business requirements and acceptance criteria
•Coordinate with Japanese stakeholders to reflect business needs, language, and cultural expectations in the product
•Support product releases and contribute to continuous product improvement using user feedback and business insights
Requirements
•Native-level Japanese proficiency, spoken and written
•Professional working proficiency in English
•At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role
•Experience working on web and mobile applications
•Strong experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation
•Ability to create and maintain business and functional documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, specifications, and other project artifacts
•Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
•Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
•Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
Nice to Have
•Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or digital health industry
•Experience with cross-functional and distributed teams
•Familiarity with UX principles and customer journey mapping
•Experience with product analytics and data-driven decision-making
•Understanding of APIs and system integrations
