Responsibilities:
•Identify, frame and prioritise high-value data and AI opportunities with clients' business teams
•Gather and document business requirements and map related business processes and data
•Define success measures and business value cases, ensuring prototypes address genuine business needs
•Translate business needs into clear technical requirements, bridging business stakeholders and forward-deployed engineers
•Conduct hands-on data analysis, including data profiling and creating simple views or visualisations to assess feasibility and potential value
•Shape and prioritise the prototype backlog with the Tech Lead
•Support build, pivot or stop decisions based on business value and technical feasibility
•Prepare requirements, process maps and data definitions for handover to Solution Engineering teams
•Support stakeholder communication, solution demonstrations and early adoption
•Apply industry knowledge, particularly in financial services, to account for business and regulatory realities
Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and approximately four or more years of business analysis experience in technology, data or AI projects, or a master's degree and approximately three years of relevant experience
•Proven experience in requirements elicitation, process mapping and translating business needs into technology delivery
•Ability to work confidently with business stakeholders and technical or data-focused teams
•Strong problem-framing skills and ability to turn vague needs into clearly defined, buildable problems
•Data literacy and practical experience analysing and validating data using SQL, Excel and Power BI
•Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for business and technical audiences
•Ability to make progress in fast-moving environments with incomplete or ambiguous requirements
•Working understanding of data, AI and generative AI concepts, including their capabilities and limitations
•Ability to use AI safely and effectively in everyday work
•Critical thinking, curiosity and openness to continuous development and new ways of working
Nice to have:
•Experience in financial services or another regulated industry, particularly AML/KYC or financial processes
•Awareness of governance and regulatory requirements, including the EU AI Act and GDPR
•Experience working on AI, machine learning, generative AI or data projects
•Experience as an Agile Business Analyst or Product Owner
•Familiarity with Power BI, Jira and process-mapping solutions
•A relevant business analysis, Agile or product management certification such as CBAP
•Previous consulting experience
