We are looking for an experienced Senior Android (Kotlin | Jetpack Compose) Developer to join a team working on a large-scale banking and lending platform. This role is prospective and has been created in line with the company's planned team expansion.
Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain Android application functionality using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
•Implement modern UI using Jetpack Compose.
•Integrate the application with backend services via REST APIs.
•Work with Kotlin Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous and reactive programming.
•Apply appropriate architectural approaches and design patterns.
•Write clean, maintainable, and extensible code.
•Follow OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and established engineering practices.
•Identify and avoid common software design anti-patterns.
•Participate actively in code reviews.
•Investigate and address application performance and memory-related issues.
•Collaborate with other engineers as part of the development team.
•Participate in the team's CI/CD and development processes.
Requirements
•Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and Android SDK.
•Strong practical knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines and Flow.
•Practical experience with Jetpack Components.
•Strong hands-on experience developing UI with Jetpack Compose.
•Good understanding of Android application architecture.
•Understanding and practical application of MV architectural approaches.
•Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
•Good understanding of SOLID principles, common design patterns, and software anti-patterns.
•Experience integrating Android applications with backend services via REST APIs.
•Understanding of CI/CD processes.
•Basic understanding of memory leaks, their causes, and approaches to investigation.
•Experience participating in code reviews.
•Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code.
•Experience with Git and Jira.
•Experience working as part of a development team.
•Strong collaboration and communication skills.
