Description
The project is developing a mobile banking application that provides a seamless cashback experience, including secure transaction processing, real-time cashback tracking, and integrations with partner services and financial APIs. The customer is a large international technology organization operating in the digital infrastructure domain, developing and maintaining high-load platforms across multiple regions.
Responsibilities
•Design and develop scalable Android features for a banking application
•Implement secure financial flows, including transactions, cashback logic, and tracking
•Integrate external APIs for payments, geolocation, and partner services
•Ensure application performance, stability, and security
•Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams to deliver features end-to-end
•Maintain and improve app architecture according to modern best practices
•Lead code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor team members
•Monitor app health, including crashes, performance, and analytics, and proactively improve it
•Use analytics tools such as Firebase and GA to track user behavior and optimize features
•Improve development processes, documentation, and codebase quality
Requirements
•At least 2 years of Android development experience with Kotlin
•Good knowledge of Android fundamentals, application lifecycle, OOP, and common architectures such as MVVM/MVI
•Experience building Android UIs with Jetpack Compose and/or the traditional View/XML system
•Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and basic or working knowledge of Flow
•Experience integrating REST APIs, handling responses and errors, and serialization
•Basic experience with local data persistence using Room and/or other Android storage solutions
•Familiarity with dependency injection using Hilt, Dagger, Koin, or equivalent
•Experience writing unit tests and understanding of basic UI testing principles
•Working knowledge of Git and basic understanding of CI/CD
•Ability to independently implement well-defined features and collaborate with the development team
•English at Intermediate+ level
