Within the Integrated Process Team (IPT) Inactivated Vaccines Pharmaceuticals (IVP) of Animal Health, inactivated vaccines and pharmaceutical products are produced according to strict Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards in sterile preparation and filling facilities.
You will work within the Maintenance & Reliability team of our Inactivated Vaccines Pharmaceuticals (IVP) department, consisting of fifteen employees. Together with your fellow work preparers, the challenge is to further professionalize the department and achieve further growth. You report to the Maintenance & Reliability Lead. We are also working on the construction of a new facility, but the work will initially take place in the current department.
About the role
Your main goal as work preparer/planner is to ensure optimal reliability and technical availability of the various production equipment. You do this within a cleanroom environment where safety and quality are of high priority. Within the Maintenance & Reliability department, you ensure the maintenance and management of all production lines and process equipment. You are responsible for efficient preparation, coordination and delivery of maintenance work on production equipment and peripheral equipment, with the aim of achieving optimal usability and reliability within the set production, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) and business goals.
Tasks and responsibilities include
•You are an expert in the field of maintenance and technology for equipment and systems;
•Analyzing the maintenance process, monitoring guidelines and procedures, and making improvement proposals to increase the technical availability of our process installations;
•Planning and discussing work to be carried out with the internal customer, Maintenance Support Engineer and/or M&R lead;
•Coordinating, directing and preparing the work for Maintenance Technicians, and independently maintaining contacts with external parties, coordinating and supervising their work;
•Advising and supporting (the execution of) maintenance and investment projects;
•Advising on technical aspects and providing input for drawing up changes;
•Writing procedures and ensuring accurate documentation and maintenance plans.
We ask
•Relevant completed technical education at HBO (higher professional education) level;
•A number of years of experience as a senior technician or work preparer, preferably in the pharmaceutical, chemical or food industry;
•Broad technical knowledge of production equipment and installations such as control technology, pneumatics/hydraulics, CIP/SIP process, freeze-drying process;
•Good analytical and organizational skills, strong self-confidence, clear communication with stakeholders both internally and externally;
•Experience with work permit processes and planning of maintenance shutdowns;
•Continuous attention to quality, safety and compliance;
•Knowledge and work experience with SAP PM and/or MS Projects is a plus;
•Excellent oral and written skills in Dutch and English, and additionally, ability to understand and read technical documents in Dutch, German and English.
