As a Supply Chain Business Analyst, you become the strategic link between Group Supply Chain, Business Areas (BA), IT, Data & Analytics, and AI functions within Saab. You have a central role in translating business needs into digital solutions that create real business value and strengthen our long-term competitiveness.
You drive and develop the group-wide roadmap for digitalization, Business Intelligence, and AI within Supply Chain. The role involves balancing common group requirements for standardization and governance with the specific needs of the business areas, while ensuring scalable and sustainable solutions.
In this role, you will among other things:
•Develop and drive strategies and roadmaps within digitalization, BI, and AI for Supply Chain.
•Act as the interface between the business and IT, Enterprise Architecture, and Data & Analytics functions.
•Drive the development of common KPIs, data requirements, and analytics capabilities within areas such as purchasing, planning, logistics, and production.
•Identify and prioritize opportunities within automation, advanced analytics, and AI to strengthen efficiency, resilience, and business value.
•Be responsible for the digital portfolio within Supply Chain and ensure the right balance between common solutions and business-specific needs.
•Prepare decision material, recommendations, and presentations for management at both group and business area level.
•Create engagement and buy-in for change initiatives through clear communication and close collaboration with stakeholders throughout the organization.
You will become part of Group Supply Chain and work in an international environment with many contact points across Saab. Travel is part of the role.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who combines a strong business and Supply Chain perspective with a good understanding of digitalization, data analysis, and AI. You can translate business needs into strategic direction, priorities, and scalable digital solutions, and hold qualified dialogue with both business and technology stakeholders. You thrive in the space between strategy and execution and have the ability to create alignment in a complex organization.
Technical specialist competence is valuable, but the role primarily requires that you can connect the perspectives and drive development from need to business value.
To succeed in the role, we see that you have:
•An academic degree in, for example, Supply Chain Management, industrial engineering, logistics, technology, information systems, or another relevant field.
•Several years of experience in Supply Chain development, business development, business analysis, digital transformation, or similar roles.
•Experience with Business Intelligence, data analysis, and digital platforms.
•Strong ability to translate business needs into requirements, priorities, and concrete development initiatives.
•Experience communicating with and presenting to management teams and senior decision-makers.
•Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you also have:
•Experience with AI, advanced analytics, or data-driven transformation.
•Experience from larger international organizations or complex matrix organizations.
•Knowledge of digital Supply Chain processes within purchasing, planning, logistics, or production.
As a person, you are analytical, communicative, and relationship-building. You have a strategic perspective while also being pragmatic and driving in execution. Furthermore, you have a good ability to navigate between different interests and create engagement around change.
The role involves some travel, primarily within Sweden, as you will collaborate with stakeholders and teams at several different locations and within different business areas.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security protection regulations in force at any given time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification placement, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
