About the Role
Are you GAME to JOIN US and be our new Spine Animator? PopOK Gaming is on a search for a Spine Animator to join our team.
Responsibilities
•Rig and Animate high-quality, efficient 2D skeletal animations for game characters and assets using Spine.
•Apply classic animation principles (timing, weight, etc.) to ensure fluid, visually engaging motion.
•Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and developers to align the animation with the project's artistic and technical vision.
•Assist in selecting video, colors and animation for graphic design.
•Refine animations with various applications.
•Brainstorm with the design team to come up with new ideas, patterns and styles.
•Stay up-to-date with new animation techniques and applications.
•Create a project timeline and meet deadlines.
Requirements
•3+ years of experience in 2D animations.
•Bachelor's Degree in Animation, Visual Arts or a related field programs.
•Proficient in the Spine Animation Software (rigging, meshing, Inverse Kinematics) & After Effects.
•Strong foundation in 2D animation principles.
•Familiarity with the game development pipeline and integrating assets into game engines.
•Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills.
•Ability to collaborate and meet deadlines.
