Software Developer
Location: UK, Mobile Worker with travel to Leidos offices as required
Salary Range: £61,500 - £78,800
Enterprise Supply Chain Services (ESCS) is the part of the solution responsible for sourcing and procurement, inventory, planning and order management. As a Software Developer, you will design, build, test and maintain software components and integrations that support ESCS capability delivery. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary agile team, following agreed architecture, engineering, security and quality standards. We welcome different perspectives and encourage collaborative problem-solving.
What will I be doing?
•Turn agreed stories and designs into working, supportable software.
•Collaborate with colleagues across analysis, architecture, testing, data and infrastructure.
•Contribute to a healthy engineering culture through review, documentation and continuous improvement.

•Develop and maintain applications, APIs, integrations and supporting components.
•Write clean, secure and testable code using agreed patterns and standards.
•Create and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration test automation.
•Participate in code reviews, design discussions, estimation and backlog refinement.
•Use Git-based workflows and CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy changes.
•Investigate defects and support root-cause analysis.
•Maintain technical documentation and contribute to operational readiness.
•Continuously improve knowledge of the platform, domain and engineering toolchain.
