About the Client
The client is a global leader in orthodontic solutions, providing products and technologies to orthodontists and patients worldwide. Its product range includes braces, wires, brackets, and aligners.
Responsibilities
•Analyze system requirements and propose scalable, efficient software architectures for web applications
•Develop high-performance server-side components in C++
•Integrate web applications with databases, design data storage schemas, and optimize data retrieval and manipulation
•Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize algorithms, and improve system efficiency
•Coordinate with front-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end components, implementing APIs and data communication protocols
•Troubleshoot complex software issues, investigate and resolve bugs, and provide technical support for issues reported by users or testing teams
•Conduct code reviews, provide feedback to junior developers, and mentor less experienced team members
•Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API specifications, and coding standards
•Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, participate in sprint planning, provide time estimates, and deliver software within defined timelines
•Keep up with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in web application development and software architecture, and apply them to improve development processes and product quality
Requirements
•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related subject
•At least 3 years of experience designing, writing, and shipping multithreaded C++ code, including C++11 and C++14
•At least 1 year of experience developing web applications in C++
•At least 1 year of experience with Qt 5 or above
•Aspiration to continually learn about new technologies and concepts
•Knowledge of software debugging, version control systems such as Git or SVN, and build environments such as CMake
•Upper-intermediate English or higher
Nice to Have
•3D or CAD/CAM experience
•Agile/Scrum experience
•Willingness to stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in web application development and software architecture
