# (Senior) Software Engineer - Kotlin/Java/AWS (m|w|d)
As part of our Clickout-to-Revenue team, you work at the core of our business model: merchants pay for qualified redirects ("clickouts") to their shops. Your work ensures that this monetization works technically cleanly, performantly and transparently – contributing significantly to idealo's growth.
Your Tasks
End-to-End Responsibility
•You develop and operate business and web applications in the AWS Cloud.
•Together with your team, you are responsible for the entire value chain (YBYO): architecture, infrastructure, development, testing, security, deployment, monitoring, on-call and maintenance.
Product Focus: Monetization Processes and Services
•You develop services for the presentation and billing of our business models. Central components for this are the ERP system Odoo, internal tools for master data management, as well as interfaces to Salesforce and SAP.
•Innovative business models require innovative solutions - for this reason you are in close contact with stakeholders such as our accounting, sales team, account management and other cross-functional engineering teams.
Technical Excellence
•You actively contribute ideas for process improvement, place value on high code quality and continuously develop yourself further – we support you with various further education opportunities.
What You Bring
Must-haves
•7+ years of experience in developing web applications, of which at least 5 years with Kotlin/Java.
•Very good knowledge of AWS architecture and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform).
•Solid knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and event messaging, event streaming and asynchronous communication (e.g. Aiven Kafka).
•You think in terms of end-to-end responsibility and can communicate technical concepts clearly – even to non-technical people.
•You enjoy working in a team, share your knowledge, give constructive feedback and actively participate in pair programming, code reviews and joint problem-solving.
Nice-to-have
•Very good German language skills.
•Experience in the ERP, accounting or finance environment.
•Experience in developing Lambda functions for, among other things, data processing (Python, TypeScript).
