ACCESA is hiring for a software engineering role.
What you will do
•Design and maintain scalable Java backend applications and microservices focused on performance and reliability.
•Implement clean, tested, and optimized code according to engineering best practices.
•Collaborate with DevOps on containerization, deployments, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
•Build robust asynchronous systems using event-driven and message-driven architecture.
•Design efficient relational database integrations that preserve data integrity and responsiveness.
•Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, engineering standards, and mentoring junior developers.
Requirements
•5+ years of backend software development experience using Java 8 or above.
•Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and the Spring framework ecosystem.
•Hands-on experience designing and implementing RESTful microservices.
•Proficiency in optimized SQL queries and database work.
•Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, message-driven systems, and distributed systems.
•Good understanding of Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
•Familiarity with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for automated build and deployment.
•Experience with Git and Agile development practices.
•Regular use of AI tools to improve productivity, automate or reduce repetitive work, support decision-making, and deliver higher-quality outcomes.
•Ability to use AI tools responsibly by writing effective prompts, critically validating outputs, understanding limitations, and taking ownership of final results.
•Strong English communication skills.
Nice to have
•German language skills.
•Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
•Experience with Kotlin and/or Android mobile development.
•Familiarity with performance tuning and monitoring Java applications.
•Knowledge of backend security best practices.
