Your Role
The security situation in the world is changing rapidly, and with it the demands of modern warfare. Meeting these challenges requires systems that are faster, smarter and more integrated than ever before. Within the Naval Software department, we develop command and control systems that form the backbone of the Swedish Navy and of many of our international customers.
As a manager, you step into a key role where you lead the development of the software that integrates advanced sensors into the 9LV combat management system. This is where raw data is transformed into tactical information – a critical function for creating an accurate situational picture and making the right decisions in time.
The work is carried out in close collaboration with other software teams in the organization to ensure seamless and efficient integration.
As section manager you have personnel and budget responsibility as well as overall delivery responsibility for the team's projects, following up on technology, finances and planning. You also have design and construction responsibility within your area. Your leadership includes driving business development, handling salary setting, and ensuring a good work environment.
You are expected to be a mentor who continuously develops your employees' competence and promotes efficient reuse of code and solutions. With a positive and solution-oriented attitude, you are an active and contributing part of the department's management team.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with experience in leading roles, for example as a manager, project manager, team leader, or in another technically leading function within software development. You have a technical education at university level or equivalent professional experience that we assess as equivalent.
Experience from the defense industry and command and control systems is advantageous, but not a requirement – we offer a thorough introduction and the support you need to grow into the role.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to the security clearance regulations in force at any given time. This position requires security classification placement and entails a requirement for Swedish citizenship.
