About the role
Building together, not buying alone. Help us make a new form of living a reality. Housing is one of life's most important decisions, yet many people face a choice that doesn't feel right: paying high rent or committing financially to buying property. At homer, we believe there's another way. We develop cooperative housing projects that combine high-quality architecture, long-term security, and community living. People create a home without having to buy property on their own. That's why we're looking for you. You bring people together for our projects, guide them from initial interest to reservation, and help turn our idea into a lived reality.
Responsibilities
•You attract prospective residents for our housing projects and guide them from first contact to reservation.
•You conduct information events, personal conversations, and on-site appointments, making our housing model easy to understand and experience.
•You develop a structured sales process that reliably guides interested people through their decision-making phase.
•You keep track of inquiries, conversion rates, and marketing targets, and ensure that we successfully market our projects.
•You efficiently build our prospect management and follow-up processes using CRM and AI-powered tools.
•You develop new sales channels and partnerships to reach people who may be interested in our housing model.
•You work closely with our cooperative management team, which supports members after they make a reservation.
•You recognize which messages and channels reach the right people, and develop our marketing together with the team.
•You ensure that our projects are presented clearly, convincingly, and in a way that resonates with the target audience.
Requirements
•You have sales experience and enjoy inspiring people to get excited about a product or idea — ideally including offers that require explanation.
•You proactively approach prospective customers, lead persuasive conversations, and follow up consistently until initial contacts turn into concrete decisions.
•You think in terms of targets and deals, work systematically with metrics, and know how to prioritize your sales activities effectively.
•You are hands-on and build sales processes independently instead of waiting for everything to already be in place.
•You have a good sense for people, can explain complex topics clearly, and bring together different interests.
•You use digital tools and AI naturally to work more efficiently and try new approaches to sales.
•You identify with our idea of creating a different, community-based, sustainable, and long-term approach to housing.
•You are willing to travel between Hamburg, Berlin, and our project locations.
Nice to have: Experience in the real estate industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
What we offer
•A meaningful role: You help build a form of housing that opens up new opportunities for people in the long term.
•Responsibility that makes a difference: You see directly how your work helps bring our housing projects to life.
•Fair compensation with performance-based participation: We offer a fixed salary and a performance-based bonus. In addition, we are developing a model that gives employees a share in the company's collective success, depending on their role.
•A strong team: You work with experienced people in architecture, project development, and cooperative management.
•Build rather than administer: You can establish sales processes, try new approaches, and make your results visible directly.
•Think long term: We are not building homer for a quick exit, but developing a company with a long-term perspective.
