About the Position
Flatpay is a fast-growing payment service provider for small and medium-sized businesses. With a transparent pricing structure, no monthly base fee, and 24/7 support, we offer one of the most modern payment solutions in Europe.
To strengthen our customer portfolio, we are looking for Agents (m/f/d) who build long-term customer relationships, secure revenue, and work with a clear commercial mindset.
Your Tasks
•You proactively contact customers with increased churn risk – before they cancel – and lead structured, value-oriented conversations as equals
•You identify risk signals early, address objections confidently, and develop tailored solutions for long-term customer retention
•You manage the retention pipeline, prioritized by risk, revenue potential, and impact
•You work with proven playbooks and flexibly adapt your communication to different customer types and situations
•You conduct even challenging conversations calmly, professionally, and with a results-oriented approach
•You work closely with Customer Support, Field Sales, and Upsales to create sustainable solutions and structurally prevent churn
Your Profile
•Experience in retention, customer success, sales, or a comparable role with direct customer contact
•Strong commercial thinking – you work KPI-driven and measure your success by concrete results
•Strong communication and persuasion skills – you handle even difficult conversations confidently and professionally
•High resilience and empathy – you stay solution-oriented when customers are under pressure or escalate
•Structured, self-responsible way of working – you prioritize independently and never lose sight of your pipeline
•Fluent German, English skills are an advantage
