Tasks
•Preparing complex Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Scenarios for the Bank's software, digital products and API integrations
•Executing complex functional, regression, sanity and smoke tests on Web, mobile (iOS/Android) and Backend (REST API) platforms
•Thoroughly testing API integrations using Postman and Swagger tools
•Analyzing the scope of regression test coverage during product releases (Release Governance), assessing release risks and formulating QA feedback
•Monitoring quality metrics (Defect Leakage Rate, Test Coverage, Pass/Fail dynamics) and analyzing the root causes (Root Cause Analysis) of identified defects
•Structuring test processes and defects in Jira and Xray platforms, and keeping regression matrices up to date
•Verifying complex data, transactions and business logic in databases using SQL queries
•Providing methodological support to Junior and Middle-level QA engineers and ensuring the correct application of test design techniques
•Assessing test automation feasibility, automating suitable tests and keeping automated tests up to date
Requirements
•Ability to independently apply SDLC/STLC stages, testing methodologies and test design techniques in practice
•Comfortably managing test flows, test cases and defects through Jira and Xray (or Zephyr)
•Ability to independently verify data in relational databases by writing complex SQL queries
•Monitoring the flow of requests (Network requests) through DevTools and easily identifying errors
•Understanding how both the visible (Frontend) and underlying (Backend) parts of systems work and how they integrate with each other
•Knowing the general structure of CI/CD pipelines and the principles of integrating tests into this flow
•Ability to prioritize tests according to risk level and focus more on critical functionality
•Properly forming regression sets (Regression suites), keeping them up to date and managing test coverage (Test Coverage) before releases
