Responsibilities
•Develop and own an overarching quality strategy for microservices, microfrontends, and legacy systems
•Build a modern, scalable testing landscape
•Establish standards and processes
•Enable developers to ensure sustainable quality
•Ensure structure, stability, and quality across a growing software organization
Requirements
•Deep understanding of modern testing strategies, including the test pyramid, unit, component, contract, E2E, and performance testing
•Strong TypeScript skills and practical experience with Playwright, Jest, and/or Vitest
•Experience with microservice architectures, microfrontends, and API/contract testing
•Expertise in building and evolving test automation and test frameworks
•Experience with CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
•Strong architectural and systems understanding, including legacy integration
•Ability to coach developer teams and build a quality culture
•Business-fluent German and English
•Ownership, prioritization skills, and systems thinking
Nice to Have
•Experience with domain-driven testing
•Knowledge of test data strategy and test environment management
•Experience with non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability)
•Industry knowledge in automotive, ERP, or finance
