Your role
As a Project Manager at Saab ATM Deployable Towers, you are responsible for leading customer projects where advanced technical systems are developed, integrated and delivered. Our solutions combine Saab-developed software and hardware with products from external suppliers and are used by airports and air traffic service providers around the world.
You have overall responsibility for project execution and ensure that deliveries are made according to agreed timeline, budget and quality level. The role involves many points of contact where you collaborate with customers, suppliers, project members and other stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Your main areas of responsibility are to:
•Plan, lead and follow up projects from start to finish.
•Ensure that project goals are achieved regarding time, cost and quality.
•Lead cross-functional teams consisting of systems engineers, developers and other specialists.
•Coordinate and follow up external suppliers and partners.
•Manage risks, dependencies and changes throughout the project.
•Be an important point of contact for customers and other stakeholders.
•Contribute to the development of working methods, processes and project methodology.

The position is based in Växjö, where you become part of a dedicated team of engineers and project managers with colleagues in both Växjö and Gothenburg. Collaboration and professional development are important success factors here.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who is driven and thrives working independently, in a structured and methodical way. You are open, communicative and enjoy engaging in dialogue with various stakeholders. You have a natural ability to drive complex discussions forward and find common solutions.
You don't need to be a technical specialist, but you have a curious mindset and a good basic understanding of technical systems. You have a professional maturity that makes you feel confident in negotiations and have a genuine interest in the commercial and financial aspects of projects.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
•University or college education in a relevant field.
•At least a few years of experience leading technical projects.
•Experience with projects that encompass both software and hardware.
•Experience working with suppliers, subcontractors or complex supply chains.
•Good understanding of project management, planning, risk management and financial follow-up.
•Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you have experience with international customer projects or security-critical operations.
The position requires that you undergo and are approved in a security clearance in accordance with applicable security protection regulations. For positions requiring security classification, special citizenship requirements may apply.
