About the Role
You want to help shape the digital projects of tomorrow—not just manage them, but actively create them and develop them further together with your clients? As a Senior Project Manager (all genders), you take responsibility for challenging digital communications projects, with a particular focus on CMS-based information services and websites, as well as their further development and operation. You work at the intersection of technology, digital communications consulting, creative work, and content.
Responsibilities
•You manage challenging digital implementation projects and keep scope, budget, quality, and timing on track.
•Your focus is on digital communications projects with CMS-based information services and websites, as well as their further development and operation.
•You work with teams across technology, digital communications consulting, creative work, content, and UX.
•You work closely with our clients and interdisciplinary project teams, understand their requirements and challenges, and translate them into concrete project goals and solutions.
•For you, project management does not end with successful delivery: you identify new needs and opportunities among existing clients and further develop projects and client relationships together with our subject matter experts.
•You contribute your experience and project perspective to proposals, tenders, and pitches. If you already have experience in this area, even better; if not, you can develop in this area with us.
•You confidently manage different stakeholders and ensure clarity, commitment, and good collaboration even in complex project situations.
Requirements
•At least 7 years of experience managing complex digital implementation projects, focusing on CMS-based solutions such as websites or information platforms.
•You do not see project management as mere administration; you want to actively shape and further develop projects, solutions, and client relationships.
•You enjoy understanding clients and their challenges, identifying opportunities, and developing suitable solutions together with interdisciplinary teams.
•You are confident working both with technical teams and with disciplines such as communications, UX, design, creative work, or content.
•Whether agile or traditional, you know different project methods and apply them appropriately to each situation.
•You have experience from projects in the public sector, public-adjacent industries, or the B2B environment.
•You have completed a university degree.
•You communicate confidently with different stakeholders and have very good spoken and written German and English.
Nice to have:
•Experience in presales, business development, tenders, or proposal preparation.
•A certification (not a must).
