Description
An important end client is looking to hire a Project Manager Data & Analytics to lead strategic initiatives related to data management, advanced analytics and Business Intelligence projects. The selected person will be responsible for driving the value of data within the organization by managing data projects, coordinating stakeholders, defining business requirements and evolving the organization's analytical capabilities.
Responsibilities
•Lead Business Intelligence and Analytics projects, especially those related to data modeling, ETL processes and information exploitation.
•Coordinate suppliers and teams involved in project delivery, ensuring compliance with the defined standards.
•Ensure that new initiatives align with the company's data and analytics roadmap.
•Gather and define functional requirements together with business areas.
•Participate in the planning, validation and monitoring of user acceptance testing (UAT).
•Promote the adoption of analytical tools and a data-driven culture within the organization.
•Manage the ongoing enhancement and corrective maintenance of applications and analytical solutions.
•Provide functional support to users and business areas.
Requirements
•University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Business Administration or similar.
•At least 4 years of experience managing data, analytics or Business Intelligence projects.
•Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
•Experience working with visualization and reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, Looker, OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau or MicroStrategy.
•Experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, especially BigQuery.
•Experience gathering functional requirements and coordinating with business areas.
•Ability to communicate with both technical and business profiles.
Nice to have
•Experience in highly regulated sectors such as banking, insurance, telecommunications or utilities.
