Project Manager for a fintech project (remote)

Velmie is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work on a fintech project. Part-time (project-based work).
Pay: $20–23/hour (gross).
Your responsibilities:
•Managing and maintaining the project plan, including sprints, tasks, dependencies, and deadlines
•Understanding business needs, analyzing use cases and development requirements
•Proactive approach: clarifying details to fully understand requirements
•Professionally representing Velmie's interests in client meetings
•Coordinating the work of various company departments, maintaining communication with developers
•Identifying risks and timeline issues, proposing corrective measures
•Assisting in creating and updating project documentation
Who we're looking for:
•Experience working on fintech projects or digital banking projects — REQUIRED
•Basic understanding of the development process
•Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint planning principles
•Understanding of software development processes: frontend, backend, API, sprints, user stories
•Basic understanding of financial systems (KYC, KYB, wallets, cards, compliance)
•English level C1 (fluent in spoken and written communication)
•Professionalism in client communication
•Willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and adapt to new information
•Ability to organize work and prioritize when handling multiple tasks
•Experience with Jira (preferred)
