For the Product Management Team Office, Lyreco is looking for a Product Manager Cleaning / Hygiene (m/f/d) as soon as possible, for the main location in Bantorf / Barsinghausen. The Cleaning & Hygiene product category is one of Lyreco's strategic growth categories. There is great potential seen here for the future, and the aim is to specifically further expand the market position. In this role you take on an important part in the strategic development of the assortment and ensure that customers are always optimally equipped.
Your Tasks
•You are responsible for the strategic development of our cleaning and hygiene assortment and align it consistently with the market, customer needs and company goals
•You analyze market, customer and competitor developments and derive measures to optimize the assortment, profitability and growth potential
•You manage and develop our supplier partnerships, conduct negotiations and continuously optimize terms, contracts and economic conditions
•You ensure the economic performance of your assortment and actively work on increasing revenue, margins and earnings
•You develop marketing and assortment strategies and support sales in successfully placing suitable solutions for customers in the market
•You work closely with national and international stakeholders and actively drive the further development of the assortment as well as cross-functional projects
What You Bring
•A successfully completed degree in business administration, economics, marketing or a comparable qualification, alternatively a commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
•Experience in category management, portfolio management or strategic purchasing, ideally in the cleaning and hygiene sector
•A very good understanding of assortment logic, market mechanisms, customer needs and supplier structures
•Experience in supplier management as well as in negotiating terms and strategic partnerships
•Analytical and data-based working style, with the ability to quickly grasp economic relationships and translate them into concrete measures
•Strong, convincing communication skills and confidence working with different stakeholders
•An independent, structured way of working, actively and solution-oriented driving topics forward
•Very good German and English skills round off the profile

•💸 The position is classified in a salary band that – depending on qualification and professional experience – starts at approx. €45,500 and goes up to €76,000 gross per year
