Qonto provides accounting products as part of a finance workspace for small and medium-sized businesses.
Responsibilities
•Own the end-to-end product roadmap, deciding what to build, why, and in what order, in collaboration with engineers, designers, and subject-matter experts
•Build a deep understanding of German accounting processes
•Define and implement the German accounting strategy, understand customer needs, assess what to build in-house or cover through partnerships, and shape a useful offering for German SMEs
•Use AI tools to deliver faster and identify where automation can turn accounting from a mandatory task into a competitive advantage
•Challenge assumptions, build prototypes quickly, and work toward the best possible product
•Operate with squad autonomy, owning the roadmap, choosing approaches, and delivering independently
Requirements
•Deep expertise in German accounting and experience working at or closely with a German accounting technology company
•Concrete examples of products taken from 0 to 1 or significantly scaled, with a focus on outcomes and confident trade-off decisions
•Use AI across research, analysis, specification writing, and user testing as a product lever
•Fluent German
•Very good English
