About the role:
We're seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our Data As A Service team in Barcelona (Hybrid) to follow professional software engineering practices for the full Infrastructure as Code life cycle, including build processes, testing and operations. We're the world's leading travel subscription platform. We pioneered Prime, the first and world's leading travel subscription programme since launching in 2017.
Responsibilities:
•Design, implement, and maintain our platform configuration while ensuring sustainable availability, performance, and scalability.
•Create efficient, automated product deployment lifecycles utilizing cutting-edge CI/CD methodologies.
•Partner with other Platform teams to champion development best practices and break traditional engineering boundaries.
Requirements:
•At least 5+ years DevOps/DataOps/SRE experience
•Solid experience using GitHub, GitHub Actions
•Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform + ArgoCD + Helm + Crossplane
•Experience in automation tools: Ansible
•Experience with Orchestrators: Kubernetes
•Experience with CI systems, such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
•Experience with Google Cloud Platform & Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
•Hands-on experience with Kafka, PostgreSQL, MySQL and Oracle Databases, all related to the platform
•You view roadblocks as playgrounds and possess an unshakeable, boundary-free drive to solve problems
•You tackle issues with sharp common sense, pure logic, and a stellar attitude
•You genuinely enjoy diving deep into modern infrastructure and love a fun, highly communicative team culture

Nice to have:
•Experience with Neo4J, Memgraph, DataStream
•Experience with Applied AI Tools: demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered coding assistants
•Experimentation mindset: curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into software development workflows
•AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: ability to effectively leverage AI tools to debug code, streamline development processes, and enhance productivity
