About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to take technical ownership of a modern software development platform and CI/CD ecosystem. This is a key role for an experienced professional who thrives on automation, DevOps excellence, platform reliability, and delivering an outstanding developer experience.
Responsibilities
•Owning and continuously improving the CI/CD ecosystem, including shared GitLab pipelines, builder images, and enterprise build frameworks.
•Managing and enhancing the DevOps toolchain, including GitLab, build agents, artifact repositories, code quality, and observability solutions.
•Operating and maintaining Jira and Confluence environments running on Amazon EKS.
•Embedding security and quality controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle, including Software Composition Analysis (SCA), SBOMs, vulnerability management, secrets detection, and quality gates.
•Acting as the primary platform expert and trusted partner for development teams.
•Maintaining engineering metrics, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
•Ensuring platform reliability through backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•Creating documentation, delivering training sessions, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with technology vendors.
Requirements
•Extensive experience with CI/CD platforms and software engineering enablement, ideally using GitLab CI/CD.
•Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL or Rocky Linux).
•Advanced scripting and automation skills using Bash and Python.
•Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible.
•Deep understanding of container technologies and orchestration platforms, including Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes.
•Strong knowledge of Maven and the Java build ecosystem.
•Experience working with PostgreSQL, Amazon RDS, SQL, ETL processes, and engineering dashboards.
•Comfortable leveraging AI-powered development tools in day-to-day engineering activities.
•Solid DevSecOps background and experience with software supply chain security.
•Knowledge of vulnerability management, authentication systems, and secrets management.
•Practical experience working within AWS environments.
•Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
•Proactive problem-solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
•Adaptable, team-oriented, and passionate about learning new technologies.
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
•8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering.
•Native-level Portuguese and professional English communication skills.

•Amazon EKS and Helm.
•Identity and access management solutions such as Okta or Teleport.
•Observability tools including Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.
•Virtualization platforms such as Proxmox.
•Networking technologies including DNS, TLS/PKI, VPNs, reverse proxies, and WAFs.
•Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitLab, RHCSA, or ITIL.
