Responsibilities
•Think deeply about systems, including edge cases, failure modes, and life cycles, to craft robust yet manageable solutions
•Work closely with product owners to design systems that speed time-to-market for user-friendly features
•Champion and practice DevOps best practices
•Mentor others on designing and implementing platform-level solutions
•Help define the platform and technology roadmap
Requirements
•Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable services
•Proficient in managing and debugging distributed services
•Expertise in cloud services, including Kubernetes, Istio, cert-manager, and Open Policy Agent
•Well-versed in Cloud PaaS, such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
•Ability to work with high-volume transaction environments
•Full professional proficiency in English and Dutch
Nice to have
•Experience with DevOps best practices, knowledge of performance, reliability, security, and scalability in service design
Conditions
•Contract duration: 4–6 months; project contracts are 6 months with possible prolongations
