Tasks
•Designing system architecture and contributing to application development.
•Developing software in Java, with a focus on backend development (approximately 90% of the work).
•Implementing changes in both the monolithic and microservices parts of the system.
•Creating and maintaining unit tests.
•Supporting integration and acceptance testing.
•Participating in system stabilization after deployments and handling and fixing reported bugs.
•Collaborating with the Product Owner, System Analyst, Tech Lead/Architect, Developers, and QA in a Scrum methodology.
•Using AI tools to support the software development process.
Requirements
•Very good knowledge of Java, backed by at least 6 years of commercial experience.
•Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Hibernate/JPA.
•Very good knowledge of SQL.
•Experience designing and developing microservices.
•Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
•Basic knowledge of Angular.
•Ability to use AI tools to support the software development process.
Nice to have
•Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka.
•Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
•Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
•Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch.
•Knowledge of Playwright.
•Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
•Knowledge of IT security.
•Experience with CI/CD.
•Experience mentoring developers or serving as a Technical Leader.
•Knowledge of the insurance industry.
Conditions
•Up to PLN 140/hour net + VAT, B2B.
•Mostly remote, with a visit to the Warsaw office once a week.
