Description
IT Factory, a dynamic company with experience in the development, implementation and support of IT solutions, is looking for candidates for a leading Polish company in the insurance and financial sector for the position of Senior Java Developer (Spring, Kafka, Angular).
Responsibilities
•Building and expanding claims reporting and handling systems in a distributed microservices architecture and a monolithic architecture
•Participating in architecture design using modern solutions
•Improving the handling of selected business processes
•Ensuring software quality by developing the automated testing pyramid
•Conducting and receiving code reviews
•Participating in the agile team's Scrum events
•Working daily with a team that shares knowledge and is focused on high code quality in large, high-volume systems
Requirements
•At least 7 years of commercial experience in Java and very good knowledge of the language
•Very good knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
•Very good knowledge of Apache Kafka
•Very good knowledge of SQL
•Knowledge of Angular
•Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
•Experience in designing and developing microservices
•Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs
•Ability to use AI tools that support the software development process
•Readiness to work in a hybrid model (at least 1 day a week from the office in Warsaw)
Nice to have
•Knowledge of Playwright
•Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
•Knowledge of RabbitMQ and Elasticsearch
•Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
•Knowledge of IT security topics
•Experience with CI/CD
•Experience mentoring developers or working as a Technical Leader
