Aufgaben
•Define the target architecture for a modern data platform
•Evaluate solution approaches, technical concepts, and implementation proposals
•Develop and enhance ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
•Connect and integrate core enterprise and ERP systems, including SAP
•Build consistent and scalable data models
•Ensure high data quality and availability
•Establish engineering standards, code reviews, and documentation guidelines
•Implement and optimize CI/CD processes
•Collaborate with external development partners and ensure knowledge transfer
•Take on overall technical responsibility for the platform in the future
Anforderungen
•Several years of professional experience in data engineering
•Experience delivering data projects throughout the full project lifecycle
•Experience with modern cloud data platforms; Azure Databricks is preferred
•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure
•Proficiency in relational and dimensional data modeling
•Knowledge of DataOps, DevOps, and CI/CD processes
•Practical experience integrating ERP systems and other enterprise applications
•Understanding of data quality management and data validation
•Assertiveness and ability to collaborate with external service providers
•Interest in modern technologies and AI-supported ways of working
•Very good German and English skills
