Responsibilities
•Support Wealth and Asset Management division's in-house developed .NET web and windows applications and a series of utilities enhancing third party application functionality.
•Design, build and modify business-tier components, web applications, and database objects using C# / .NET Core / Web API / ASP.NET tech stack.
•Support and troubleshoot DEV, UAT and PROD environment development solutions, working closely with business teams and infrastructure in the timely resolution of critical issues.
•Analyse, estimate, design and execute system changes, including changes of significant scale, work spanning the full breadth of the development cycle from first concept to BAU.
•Implement all aspects of a development solution including those relating to security, scalability, logging, monitoring, conformance to standards, quality (testing), management and future-proofing.
•Liaise closely with other IT teams, vendors and the business during the development lifecycle, including initial analysis and estimation, solution advocacy, training, mentoring, and test-cycle input.
Requirements
•Strong working knowledge of MS SQL Server 2019 and above
•Experience in design, development and maintenance of Single-Page Applications (SPAs) using React.js and integrating React-based front-end applications with .NET RESTful APIs and back-end services
•Working knowledge of Angular, HTML, CSS (LESS/SASS) and JavaScript
•Experience with concurrent development source control and continuous integration – GIT, TFS
•Experience creating and testing software prototypes
•Ability to advocate/enforce IT policies, creating automated/robust solutions
•Experience working in both waterfall and Agile development environments
•Strong development experience using C# .NET
•Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC)) and architecture styles/APIs
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills
•Excellent team-working skills (IT and the business)
•Ability to work well under pressure
•Ability to perform in a 'small division' environment
•A 'can do' and 'get it done' attitude
•Appreciation of / conformance to good development practices
Nice to have
•Familiarity with MS D365 CRM customisation (preferential)
•Familiarity with MS SharePoint (preferential)
•Experience working on Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure/PAAS will be beneficial
•Relevant technical certifications (preferable)
•Relevant University qualifications (preferable)
