Responsibilities
•Design and develop Java applications and libraries
•Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
•Troubleshoot and debug Java applications to ensure smooth performance
•Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and reusability
•Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java development
•Pair with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes
Requirements
•Experience in Java server-side software development
•Experience designing, building, debugging, and operating distributed systems
•Experience designing and evolving messaging protocols and software libraries
•Experience applying different forms of testing to ensure software quality, including correctness and performance
•Experience measuring, benchmarking, and profiling components and systems
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•A collaborative approach, willingness to share knowledge and learn from others, and interest in learning new things and keeping up to date
•Comfortable working in a test-driven and Agile development environment
